Dain is a founding partner of Core Developers Network with enterprise computing experience in industries ranging from health care to retail to government and with companies as diverse as United Health Care, MCI, and McDonalds. After the rise and fall of his first dot.com startup, Dain followed the path of independent consulting to open source development. In 2001, he decided to resurrect the JBoss persistence engine and subsequently rewrote it in its entirety, implementing the CMP 2.0 specification. While doing so, he wrote a JUnit extension for testing server-side EJBs and has extensive knowledge of this testing framework. He is currently leading the JBoss 4.0 persistence team.

Dain's specialties are enterprise architecture, EJBs, and persistence.
He is the Director of Support Services (US) for Core Developers Network.
